About Solidarity Warriors

Solidarity Warriors is an action-focused group dedicated to making real change in the U.S. We have and will continue to organize massive protests in Denver, put pressure on legislators, and protect vulnerable communities including BIPOC, LGBTQIA2S+ and immigrants.

We meet weekly on Zoom and we often have a guest speaker. We focus on turning the energy of protests into action by educating our members on topics like How to Start an Activist Group in Your Community, Know Your Rights, Protest Safely, How to Influence Your Legislators, Digital Security, Civil Disobedience, the General Strike US, and How to Keep Our Differences from Splintering the Movement.

We encourage everyone from novice activists to group leaders to join us so we can learn from each other.

Please join us for one of our online meetings through Zoom every Wednesday at 5 PM PT / 6 PM MT / 7 PM CT / 8 PM ET.

Inclusivity

Everyone is welcome in our meetings, regardless of location, age, race, gender, religion, party affiliation, or any other factors you can think of. Except nazis and fascists, of course.

History

Solidarity Warriors formed right after the November election. When some people chose to separate themselves from the news, and I don’t blame you, my coping mechanism was to dive in and submerse myself in all of the post-election coverage I could find. When We Are Worth Fighting for formed, I felt energized! Here was something I could DO to resist the new administration. I started Solidarity Warriors with just a handful of like-minded people and grew to be  a group of 250 pissed off activists.
